Senior Support Specialist SAP FICO  (m/w/d)

(Brazil, Mexico, Spain or Portugal)

Your Mission

The main mission consists of the follow up and resolving of support cases in the area of Finance and Controlling, logged via the Puratos support portal, within the predefined SLA. The Senior Support Specialist will be expert in the Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) domain from a functional & technical point of view. Within his/her area of responsibilities the Senior Support Specialist will keep the group ICT Applications Support Team Lead informed about his/her activities.

What you will do

  • Follow up and resolve support cases logged via the Puratos support portal for the Finance and Controlling domain
  • Coordinate the support related outsourcing within FI for both SAP and Odoo
  • Ensure reaching of OLA/KPI for FI and CO, in close collaboration with the SAP outsourcing partner
  • Responsible for the support follow up as senior support consultant, taking up more complex tickets and change requests.
  • Write functional specifications for new approved change requests
  • Perform functional testing and validate integration testing
  • Ensure execution of Change Requests and Developments
  • Act as template keeper within your domain of expertise: protect the template, organize regression testing and identify template gaps
  • Advise/support Key/End Users in their daily job, defining best practices for system input and processing
  • Keep Global Customizing Documentation up-to-date
  • Contribute in optimization activities and implement additional functionalities. Come up with proposals for optimization based on business support exchanges.
  • Contribute to upgrades for SAP and Odoo
  • Provide assistance to the regional roll-out teams when needed
  • Organize or assist in post implementation reviews and training sessions
  • Contribute to the development of the Finance (both Odoo and SAP) template and document all changes

What we expect from you

  • 5-7 years experience 
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Advanced English
  • AP ERP in dept knowledge in the FI and/or CO domain with focus on Finance
  •  Knowledge on GL/AP/AR/AA/Automatic banking/credit management/ Interco integration is a minimum requirement
  • Odoo and SAP ABAP knowledge (asset)
  • In depth technical knowledge of setting up payment methods, payment files, use of DMEE is require
  • Integration knowledge MM/SD/PP
