Senior Mobile Developer

ADP SBS division is searching for a Senior Application Developer - Mobile to help us integrate the latest iteration of our cutting-edge payroll platform into the mobile space.

The project is build on top of a cross-platform application based on Flutter. Applicants should be experienced engineers who are passionate about great user experiences on mobile devices, can show initiative and who can work independently when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test new features by updating existing code and building from the ground up.
• Make key contributions to our architecture and unified Flutter codebase, supporting both iOS and Android clients
• Participate in the full product development cycle, contributing mobile expertise from feature inception through development and release.
• Lead technical discussions and drive decision-making on mobile
• Participate in application architecture and introduces best practices for writing performant, testable, and idiomatic code.
• Ensure mobile applications meet acessibility and security standards
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Write unit tests and collaborate with QA to ensure comprehensive automated test coverage.
• Work closely with project managers, designers, data specialists, QA, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Optimize the platform for high performance by writing quality code and partnering with QA to test and resolve bugs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hybrid mobile app development experience (Flutter, React Native)
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Knowledge of layouts, themes, styles, views and other UI concepts
• Experience of Git/Github
• Cares about User Experience and has strong debugging skills
• Excellent OO skills and a solid understanding of basic OO concepts, design patterns and solid principles
• Passion for web technologies in general is desired
• High attention to detail
• Strong interest in staying updated with the latest AI trends and tools relevant to mobile development.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NodeJs, React, Mongo is a huge plus
• Java/Kotlin experience
• Swift/Objective C experience
• C#/.NET

Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science required, or equivalent education and experience. Experience: 4 - 6 years of experience with progressive systems and programming and analysis experience. Proven proficiency in current development languages. Requires some management capabilities, strong judgement and good communication skills. Skills - Abilities: Competent to independently work on the most complex system programming and systems analysis projects. Responsible for the analysis of systems with a focus on internal technical specifications, coding, testing and documentation. Develops specifications, creates new database systems programs and modifies and expands existing systems programs. Works under deadlines and is subject to heavy workloads.
