Do you want an exciting challenge in this newly established role with NHS Highland?
This role will play an essential part in establishing a strategy for quality and clinical governance and provide leadership to improve the quality of services and clinical governance across all of our integrated health and social care system. You will play a key part in ensuring that the organisation is best placed to provide the best healthcare outcome for our communities in Highland and Argyll and Bute. This will include a systematic approach to clinical governance and organising for quality at all levels of the organisation.

We are based firmly in our communities and working closely with colleagues in primary and secondary care, third and independent sector, strengthening and building relationships every day.
You would work closely with a range of people across NHS Highland and our partners to provide strong and effective leadership advice and direct support to the NHS Highland Board and services in areas of clinical governance, quality planning, quality improvement, patient safety, innovation, information, value, and sustainability.
We are looking for a senior leader, who is motivated, ambitious, committed and innovative and has a proven track record in quality and quality improvement as well as clinical and care governance, values-based leadership, operational management and transformational change.
