About the Company

Against the backdrop of the project being in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA/RIMA) phase, this position will directly support the CEO in overseeing all technology and project-related affairs in an all-round manner.

About the Role

Responsibilities include undertaking the overall engineering design of the mine, coordinating the deliverables of EIA-related institutions, improving project management and control efficiency, and laying a solid foundation for the subsequent licensing and implementation phases.

Responsibilities

  • Overall management of the engineering design (FEL2) and environmental impact study phases for the mine and concentrate transportation pipeline, including project planning, schedule, cost and risk control.
  • Follow up on various technical work during the EIA/RIMA phase, organize reviews and put forward improvement suggestions.
  • Represent the company in communication and coordination with technical service providers such as EIA consulting firms and engineering technical consultants.
  • Assist the group's senior management in reviewing various technical documents and participate in key technical meetings.
  • Implement project management and schedule assessment mechanisms to ensure all links are completed on time and with guaranteed quality.
  • Sort out key milestones, organize phased technical reviews and achievement acceptance.
  • Support the conceptual evaluation and integration of expert suggestions in the preparation phase of subsequent engineering design.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Project Management or related majors.
  • At least 10 years of experience in engineering design for large-scale resource projects on the owner side.
  • Proven experience in 0-1 EIA license application.
  • More than 5 years of relevant work experience in large mining companies (preferably Vale, CSN, etc.).
  • Familiar with the Brazilian environmental licensing system, EIA/RIMA processes and relevant technical standards.

Required Skills

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental impact assessments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with large mining companies.
  • Familiarity with Brazilian environmental regulations.
