We are actively seeking a Sr. Associate in Regulatory Reporting and Financial Operations to be the driving force behind scaling our company's FinOps structure and guaranteeing the seamless reconciliation of complex financial products. This highly engaged professional will hold a unique dual mandate, combining strategic execution with operational delivery.

The primary focus is to lead and execute the end-to-end implementation of two Enterprise Resource Planning systems, a critical component of our strategy to internalize the Finance BPO function. This includes driving all project management efforts—from initial scope to final delivery to ensure new systems align with business goals and support our aggressive growth trajectory in Brazil. Simultaneously, the specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust financial processes and internal controls to guarantee data integrity in financial CADOCS e product Reconciliation.

In their operational capacity, the specialist will own the regulatory reporting function, ensuring complete and timely compliance across all financial products, and will be the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including international headquarters and Big 4 auditors.

Required Experience and Key Responsibilities (Executive/Technical Tone)

Data Management and Reconciliation

  • Advanced proficiency in data organization and reconciliation, including the ability to manage and harmonize multiple, large-scale databases for both regulated and unregulated financial products.
  • Expertise in processing complex data queries to facilitate data compilation, analysis, and reporting.

Financial and Regulatory Expertise

  • Demonstrated experience working with various Payment Arrangements and a strong understanding of the settlement and clearing processes within these arrangements.
  • High level of knowledge in Accounting principles to accurately address and record the financial impacts of operations in the official ledger (

    ).
  • Proven understanding of core Financial Processes, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Governance, Compliance, and Audit

  • Ability to ensure a robust Governance Model by implementing a Second Line of Defense for transaction reconciliation and result reporting.
  • In-depth familiarity with the preparation and content of multiple regulatory documents (CADOCS) reported to the Brazilian Central Bank (BCB).
  • Prior experience successfully managing and supporting external audit engagements for regulated financial institutions.

Systems and Project Management

  • Proven experience participating in or leading the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong track record in managing complex financial and operational projects, ensuring successful delivery on time and within scope.

Requeriment

  • Total 5-10 year experience at both accounting/finance;
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in Portuguese & English (both verbal and written)
  • Able to commute to the office in Sao Paulo a few times a week
  • Knowledge in Brazilian GAAP & COSIF + Cadocs
  • Experience coordinating with regulated environment.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Well-rounded understanding and mindset in corporate governance pertaining to Brazilian central Bank

Preferred:

  • Experience in Financial CADOCS;
  • Experience in BCB Regulation accounting treatment.
  • Knowledge in accounting systems (ERP);
  • Experience managing teams.
