Housecall Pro is a simple, cloud-based field service management software platform aimed at helping companies keep track of jobs, monitor technician activity, and produce invoices easily.

We think that this offer is for you if you have:

• BS in Computer Science or a related area, or with relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience programming Ruby on Rails applications.
• Advanced knowledge of Ruby and Rails frameworks.
• A practical understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Sidekiq and background job processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Experience working with high-availability systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• A strong passion for using AI technologies to enhance productivity and innovation.
• Curiosity and drive to stay ahead of emerging AI/ML technologies.

What will help you succeed in this role:

• A working understanding of React or other frontend frameworks.
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Knowledge of refactoring techniques and writing loosely coupled code.
• Commitment to continuous learning and feedback-sharing culture.
• Passion for clean, readable, and testable code.
• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to share knowledge.
