At Hays, we're partnering with a leading company in the consumer goods sector to recruit a
Maintenance Engineer
for one of its production plants located in
Northern Europe
. If you have experience in industrial maintenance and want to lead and optimize operations in a multinational environment — this is your chance


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations across all maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient production.
  • Analyze and report KPIs to identify areas for improvement.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of safety and quality standards.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or related field.
  • Good level of English and Spanish.
  • Willingness to relocate permanently to Europe.
