In this role you will:

The Thycotic Specialist / L2 Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and supporting Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems, primarily using Thycotic Secret Server. This role will also involve providing second-level support for IT infrastructure, investigating issues, and ensuring smooth operations of all associated systems.

Mandatory skills:

o Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

o At least 2–5 years of experience in IT support or PAM roles.

o Certifications like Thycotic Certified Administrator, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL v4 Foundation (preferred).

Desirable Skills:

Manage PAM Solutions: Deploy, configure, and maintain the Thycotic Secret Server to protect privileged credentials.

User Management: Manage access controls, user provisioning, role-based access settings, and password policies within the PAM solution.

Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve PAM-related issues in the environment.

Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and assist in audit exercises.

Upgrades and Patch Management / System Maintenance: Plan and implement upgrades or security patches for the PAM infrastructure.

Migration and Decommission: To work with migration to other environment and decommissioning the legacy apps
.

Scripting and Process Automation: Develop scripts or automated workflows for credential rotation and report generation (e.g., using PowerShell).

Monitoring: Continuously monitor performance metrics, logs, and operational status of PAM solutions.

Managing Vendor Security: Implementation and managing Vendor Access (Remote Access) Management via Thycotic

Reporting: Provide detailed technical issue reports to stakeholders and management.

Collaborate with Teams: Support L1 engineering teams and coordinate with L3 specialists for advanced troubleshooting.

Knowledge Base: Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and FAQs for ongoing team use.

Virtual & Cloud Systems: Troubleshoot and maintain cloud servers and virtualized environments (e.g., VMWare, Azure).
