Automation and Instrumentation Designer

Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Automation Designer to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte office.

About The Role

• Work on engineering projects during the conceptual, basic, and detailed phases in the disciplines of Automation, Instrumentation, and Telecommunications.
• Participate in the preparation and review of instrumentation and automation project documents, such as: Instrument layout plan, P&ID instrumentation, control system configuration, and automation setup.
• Interface with other disciplines, such as piping, systems, process, mechanical, and electrical.
• Analyze vendor drawings and provide technical support for on-site implementation.

About You

• Experience in executive engineering projects in the Mining and Steel sectors;
• Experience in 3D modeling in an integrated environment (BIM);
• Experience with control systems (DCS/PLC and SCADA);
• Experience with instrumentation and industrial automation in the mining sector;
• Desirable: Experience in project implementation;
• Intermediate English;
• Intermediate Spanish;
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD / Volo View, Revit, Navis, and Plant3D
• Desirable: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or holding a completed Technical degree in Automation or Industrial Instrumentation
