Detail-oriented Excel Data Reporting Analyst is needed to join our team at IQVIA-Cronos. In this role, you will leverage your foundational Excel skills to support data-driven decision-making across various departments. You will work closely with system developers, database administrators, and operational users to enhance data organization, reporting, and visualization processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of complex Excel spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

  • Support data analysis initiatives by preparing datasets and performing preliminary data validation and cleaning.

  • Collaborate with team members to develop standardized reporting templates and dashboards to streamline data presentation.

  • Participate in the documentation of processes and best practices to enhance team efficiency.

  • Report and dashboard creation: Design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and present findings clearly.

  • Automation: Develop and implement VBA macros and other scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline reporting processes.

  • Data management: Use tools to clean, transform, and consolidate large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that support business strategies.

  • Problem-solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within spreadsheets and data models.

  • Documentation and support: Document processes, best practices, and provide training to other users.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data visualization tools and building dashboards .

  • Experience with creating end user reports from complex Excel datasets

  • Knowledge of automation tools like VBA and Power Query .

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience with data validation and data integrity checks.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment while maintaining high standards of accountability.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and features.

  • Experience and knowledge of data visualization tools or reporting software.
