About the Position:
Perform software testing in an Agile application development environment for ecommerce and integrated systems, specially PIM/MDM platforms; Capture and create test cases, execute test cases within an eCommerce ecosystem and PIM/MDM applications; Create and document test cases to drive creation of automated test scripts; Execute manual and automation tests, create and run automation regression tests, open bugs and follow up; Create and document test cases to drive creation of automated test scripts. Perform PIM/MDM Data Imports and extractions, analyze data quality, and find bugs considering acceptance criteria's. Work directly with customers and POs to refine the testing requirements and write the test plans and test cases.

What You'll Do:

• Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
  
• Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
  
• Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
  
• Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
  
• Log and document bugs in the tracking system.
  
• Set up Continuous Integration and test reports.
  
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
  
• Conduct software compatibility tests with programs.
  
• Create and maintain a database of known test defects.
  
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product design, schedules, or potential problems.
  
• Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
  
• Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source.
  
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
  
• Provide feedback and recommendations on software usability and functionality.
  
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track success.
  
• Reviews and validates product data models, attributes, hierarchies, and taxonomies.
  
• Ensures mapping rules, data transformation rules, and enrichment workflows meet business requirements.
  
• Confirms completeness and consistency of data governance rules.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in MDM/PIM (Syndigo System Administrator, Business SMEs, Syndigo Business Administration)
  
• Good experience with Automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright Frameworks is an added advantage.
  
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, GitHub actions;
  
• Experience with Jira or another defect tracking tools like testRail and TestMJ4.
  
• Experience writing, developing, and executing test plans.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills;
  
• Functional, Regression, Performance, Integration, End to End testing experience;
  
• Experience in various delivery methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, & Scaled Agile
  
• Experience with Automation of test scripts for regression testing.
  
• Experience with API testing will be a plus.

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience based on department and role.
