Role Description & Responsibilities
As an IT Network Consultant for the APAC region, you will serve as the primary point of contact for network infrastructure, supporting Level 2 Network Operations and assisting regional stakeholders on various projects.
- Key initiatives include: deploying Palo Alto firewalls, refreshing LAN hardware, and setting up new sites.
- You'll collaborate closely with the Global Network Team to ensure alignment with the Network Architect and Network Service Manager for design standards and project handovers.
- Your role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing network systems for secure and reliable data communication.
- You'll analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, and deliver strategic solutions for efficiency and scalability.
- Documenting network architecture and procedures is a key responsibility.
Working Hours:
You will primarily work during India daytime hours, with occasional flexibility required for APAC region projects.
Key Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Experience in providing 3rd line-level support for Juniper, Cisco, and Palo Alto equipment and services
- Experience working in large global companies
- Experience with ITIL framework
- Application of structured project implementation methodologies (waterfall and agile)
- Excellent technical skills in Cisco SDWAN (Viptela), Cisco ISE, Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager, Juniper Mist
Nice to Have:
- Experience with implementing Network Access Control (802.1x)
- Experience in managing network infrastructure in cloud (Azure, OCI)
Other Details:
We are seeking senior professionals with a minimum of 10 years' experience in managing large-scale network infrastructures. Candidates should have hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls, and managing Cisco and Juniper LAN and Wi-Fi environments. We are looking for individuals who can lead projects from a technical standpoint, work independently, and take a proactive approach in their daily responsibilities.
