Location is flexible: Preference would to be based in Mossoró, RN / Natal, RN / Aracaju, SE or / Catu, BA

75% in the office (home) and 25% filed work

Employment Type: Full-time

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Artificial Lift Engineer/Technician to join our team. This role involves the design, operation, maintenance, and optimization of artificial lift systems, with a strong focus on integrating automation and control solutions to improve performance, reliability, and safety.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with artificial lift technologies (e.g., ESP, PCP, rod pumps) combined with working knowledge of automation and control systems (PLC, SCADA, instrumentation).

Key Responsibilities

Commission, troubleshoot, and maintain artificial lift systems in the field.

Monitor and optimize performance of artificial lift equipment.

Support automation projects, including PLC/SCADA programming, instrumentation, and integration.

Work with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues and implement solutions.

Provide technical support, reporting, and recommendations for improving operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field (technician-level with proven experience will also be considered).

2–5 years of hands-on experience with artificial lift systems (ESP, PCP, rod pump).

Practical knowledge of automation, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial instrumentation.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in field/remote environments and travel as required.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Mandatory: English proficiency (spoken and written).

Preferred Skills

Experience with digital oilfield or intelligent well systems.

Knowledge of VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and motor control systems.

Familiarity with oilfield data acquisition and performance monitoring tools.
