We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst. This role is critical in driving financial planning, treasury activities, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making. If you have strong analytical skills, experience in financial modeling, and hands-on experience with Central Bank of Brazil regulations and the COSIF accounting framework, along with a passion for delivering actionable insights, we encourage you to apply

This Is What You Will Do

  • Execute and develop treasury and financial management activities in compliance with Central Bank of Brazil regulations.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, financial projections, and balances across bank and payment accounts.
  • Ensure adequate liquidity levels aligned with the institution's risk profile and contingency plans.
  • Oversee financial reconciliations between operational systems, banks, and partners.
  • Safeguard electronic money value, ensuring segregation, backing, and traceability of end-user funds.
  • Act as the main point of contact for outsourced accounting, including financial closings, data validation, and review of financial statements.
  • Support the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accurate accounting treatment of operations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits, including follow-up on findings.
  • Prepare and consolidate financial, accounting, and treasury reports for local management and headquarters.
  • Act as the financial interface with headquarters in Sweden, ensuring consistency and transparency.
  • Support budgeting, financial planning, and governance initiatives.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and respond to Central Bank inquiries related to finance and treasury.

Qualification & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or similar.
  • Proven experience in treasury, financial management, and accounting within financial or regulated Payment Institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of BCB regulations related to liquidity, payment accounts, electronic money safeguarding, and COSIF.
  • Hands-on experience with cash management, reconciliations, and balance control.
  • Experience working with outsourced accounting and financial closings.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and ability to analyse financial statements.
  • Experience preparing management and HQ-level financial reports.
  • Experience working with international stakeholders or headquarters.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with a high level of autonomy.
  • Native level of Portuguese and fluent in English
