Job Description:

Motec is a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty camera systems and specializes in the development and production of camera-based driver assistance systems (ADAS) for commercial vehicles and mobile machinery. We are a medium-sized German company with nearly 30 years of experience in the design and manufacture of rugged, reliable cameras and mobile electronics. Motec is part of AMETEK Inc, a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical products.

To strengthen our Finance department we are looking for a full-time dedicated Accounts Receivable Accountant (m/f/d)

What tasks await you?

  • Accurately process and post business transactions in the accounting system.
  • Ensure daily posting of incoming payments and automated processing of payment advices.
  • Clarify and reconcile non-allocable payments or discrepancies in payment advices.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to AR, transfer postings, and account maintenance.
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection - weekly dunning
  • Execute the weekly payment run with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and implement measures to design and improve workflows and processes.
  • Support the team in forecasting workflows related to receivables and payment cycles.
  • Provide financial insights and data to improve predictability and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business controllers to align financial tracking with business objectives.

What do we expect from you?

  • Successfully completed training as an industrial clerk or equivalent training as well as functionally relevant professional experience
  • Relevant professional experience in the relevant specialist area
  • Very good MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
  • Very good knowledge of English good knowledge of German
  • Knowledge of MS Navision would be an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexibility as well as a solution-oriented way of working
  • Customer-oriented communication skills
  • Team spirit as well as independent way of working in a global environment
