About the Role
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to lead and control daily vessel operations. This role acts as the main interface between clients, vessel crews and onshore teams, ensuring efficiency, safety, performance and full contractual compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily vessel operations, ensuring adherence to plans, contracts and KPIs.
- Serve as the main operational point of contact for clients.
- Coordinate incident response, emergencies and non-conformities.
- Validate and prioritize maintenance plans with the technical team.
- Assess operational risks and approve route, schedule or scope adjustments.
- Ensure full compliance with QHSE standards and promote a strong safety culture.
- Monitor operational costs, fuel consumption and port expenses.
- Prepare detailed performance analyses and reports for clients and management.
- Conduct periodic operational meetings with captains, vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Support audits, inspections, mobilization and demobilization processes.
Requirements
- Solid experience in offshore operations, preferably with direct fleet management.
- Strong knowledge of PSV, AHTS, RSV or similar vessel operations.
- Expertise in operational planning, KPI analysis and managing multiple vessels.
- Intermediate or advanced English.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, class, certifications and O&G standards.
- Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Nautical Studies or related areas.
- Experience managing contracts with major oil & gas operators.
- Familiarity with audits, DP trials, PSC inspections and complex mobilizations.
