Your roleWe are recruiting an HR Manager for Itubombas. In this role you have the full responsibility of main people development processes as recruit and select new talents, develop our current employees focused on achieving individual´s full potential and retain our employees in a cohesive team. Additionally, you will also structure and execute the short-, medium-, and long-term HR strategy aligned with the Division's strategy and with the support of the Regional HR Head.
Also you will interact with Internal Communication, Employer branding, Union, payroll & benefits, legal processes, SHEQ, Sustainability and pro-actively support our business in making effective decisions.
Your mission is to provide strategic and tactical support to Itubombas and our employees. This position is part of the Itubombas management team and you will report directly to the General Manager and functionally to the Head of Regional HR.
What is your mission?
As HR Manager, you will work directly with the leadership of Itubombas, providing support in strategic decisions related to people and culture. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and driving consistent talent management practices, supporting managers in the performance cycle, and actively contributing to employee development and engagement. Your role will be key in building an environment that promotes growth, inclusion, psychological safety, and sustainable results.
Also you will be a trustable partner for all Itubombas leaders ensuring that people-related decisions are always aligned with the business strategy, fostering a strong, safe, and sustainable culture.
HR Strategy and Leadership
- You will be responsible for defining and developing an HR strategy aligned with business objectives and the global guidelines of the division and group.
- Lead the generalist HR team (Payroll and Recruitment & Selection) and develop internal competencies.
- Act as a strategic consultant to leadership, supporting people's decisions based on data, policies, and best practices.
- Culture, Communication, and Change Management: Promote a high-performance culture, collaboration, ethics, and psychological safety.
- Lead internal communication initiatives aligned with the culture and business strategy.
- Talent, Leadership, and Development: Manage Performance cycles, Calibration/Talent Review, 9-Box, bonuses, and salary reviews.
- Employee Experience & Engagement: Strengthen onboarding, employer branding, recognition programs, and retention actions.
- Conduct engagement surveys, action plans, and create a safe and inspiring environment.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Encourage diversity initiatives, internship programs, inclusion of women in the industry, and technical talent development.
- Governance, Compliance, and Efficiency: Ensure compliance with labor legislation, internal policies, and audits (ISO, global matrix, etc.).
- Manage job and salary structures, benefits, salary tables, and organizational structures, according to the group guidelines.

Experience requirements:
- University degree preferably from Administration or Psychology.
- Fluent English.
- Solid experience as HR Business Partner or HR Manager.
- Knowledge of performance evaluation processes, talent matrix (9-box), bonus targets and development.
- Desirable knowledge of digital HR tools.

Personal Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (especially Excel) and SAP environment.
