We're looking for a Test Automation Engineer (Playwright / TypeScript) to strengthen our QA team, working on automation and validation for a high-traffic, consumer-facing web application.

What you'll do

• Automate and maintain test suites for web app features, increasing automation coverage and ensuring a high pass rate.
• Monitor hourly and PR test execution reports; log and raise issues when defects are found.
• Support weekly release validations and provide manual testing for scenarios not covered by automation.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to analyze upcoming features and changes, create test plans, and document test cases in a Test Management Tool.
• Support ad hoc testing requests from product and engineering teams.
• Maintain and enhance the internal web testing framework (Playwright / TypeScript).

What you'll bring (Mandatory)

• 3+ years of web application testing experience.
• Solid understanding of web testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript.
• Strong background with Playwright (or similar automation frameworks).
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Experience with test case management tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git and Jira.

Nice to have

• Additional scripting skills.

• Broader test automation experience across different platforms.

• knowledge of python in terms of api testing

• Communication skills, ability to work in a team
