About the Position:

Overview:

This position is for our internship program, designed to provide students with opportunities for development, strengthen their technical skills, and collaborate closely with our consultants. The program lasts for a minimum of one year and intends to support students as they grow into consulting roles.

Our team members are expected to have a strong interest in business. Understanding our clients' organizations and industries is key to identifying areas of opportunity for us to help. Similarly, our people must have excellent listening, writing, and presenting skills, alongside the aptitude and motivation to master multiple data-focused technologies in a fast-moving field. This combination of business, people, and technical skills is essential.

Our Brazil and US entities are managed together under one Thorogood Americas in support of development of our business in the region. Further, we work with colleagues across the US, UK, India, Singapore, and Brazil, and with global customers, to provide effective solutions. The ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a distributed team is imperative.

Location and Timing:

This position is based in our São Paulo office. Our consultants are currently working in a hybrid model and are expected to work in São Paulo-SP, Brazil. The expected start date for this position is approximately January/February 2026, depending on candidate internship and course timing and general start date availability.

About You:

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027. Please include in your cover letter your expectations in terms of work timing, particularly any commitments you may have with respect to classes/coursework.

Qualified candidates must have:

• Fluency in written and spoken English and Portuguese
• Strong interest in business, people, and technology
• Strong academic record in a related discipline, including engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, management, or another business and quantitative-focused field

This is an internship position; no prior employment experience is required. Please do highlight if you have studied or worked with:

• Cloud Data & AI technology platforms, e.g. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• SQL, Python, R, Scala, Spark, or any other programming or statistical programming languages and frameworks
• Applied mathematics, statistics, probability, machine learning, or artificial intelligence
• Data science, data engineering, or data visualization technologies
• Structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data storage, transformation, or analysis
