Position Mission:

Are you passionate about electrical engineering and automation, and eager to be part of a global company that is transforming the industry with cutting-edge technology? ABB is looking for a Project Engineer to join our Process Automation team within the Energy Industries division in Brazil. If you have experience with PMS systems, electrical automation, and protocols such as IEC 61850—and are ready to take on technical responsibility for a strategic portfolio—this opportunity is for you

Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical authority in low to medium complexity projects, with a focus on PMS systems

• Perform engineering activities in accordance with technical standards, safety regulations, and cybersecurity policies

• Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning of systems

• Participate in the preparation of proposals and technical presentations for projects

• Use checklists and guidelines to verify project compliance with applicable standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Automation

• Experience with electrical automation systems and industrial networks

• Knowledge of IEC 61850, DCS, and PLCs

• Advanced English (spoken and written communication)

• Availability for frequent travel and a valid category B driver's license

Differentials:

• Hands-on experience with PMS or PPM systems

• Background in oil & gas projects
