Where you Fit In:

As a Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of talented developers, overseeing the development and maintenance of our Java-based gaming platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, architects and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. Your role will involve a combination of hands-on development, technical leadership, and strategic planning.

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of developers.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our Java-based gaming platform.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and security.
• Review and approve code changes, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers and product owners to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Create and manage project plans, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
• Monitor progress and address any issues or roadblocks proactively.
• Collaborate with architects to drive architectural decisions for the platform, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance the development process.
• Ensure the system design aligns with business goals and technical requirements.
• Work closely with your team and other cross-functional teams, including designers, QA, and operations, to deliver high-quality products.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and technical challenges.
• Advocate for technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
• Participate in coding activities, especially for complex or critical components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Team Lead in a similar role.
• Advanced English level.
• Experience with Java and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Experience with iGaming platforms or related industries is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Java MVC frameworks (J2EE, Spring Boot, Micronaut)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of database management (SQL, NoSQL).
