Our culture values collaboration, inclusivity, and flexibility.Key Responsibilities:Draft and negotiate M&A pipeline documents, such as non-disclosure agreements, offer letters, consulting agreements, reliance/non-reliance letters, financial advisory and indemnity letters and other engagement letters;Directly counsel clients, providing valuable real-world legal experience;Monitor project timelines, communicate updates to clients and maintain strong organisational control over legal workflows;Support the drafting, reviewing and management of legal documentation for corporate transactions;Ensure strict adherence to legal compliance and regulations; andEngage with the development team and employ legal technology tools to boost the efficiency and precision of legal services.Key Performance IndicatorsEfficiency on document review (including both volume and turnaround times);Quality of document drafts demonstrating understanding of legal substance;Clear and concise communication and engagement with clients and partners, and understanding and use of legal technology tools.Skills and QualificationsLicensed to practice law in Brazil (active OAB registration required);Fluent English (written and spoken) – CEFR C2 / IELTS >7.0 / TOEFL iBT >100 (or equivalent);International legal experience (academic and/or professional) is an advantage;Experience as a transactional lawyer in corporate/M&A matters;Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills;Excellent written and verbal communication;Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote/global team.Why Join Us?Gain valuable legal experience in a tech-enabled law firm.Work with a client base that includes leading global financial institutions and investment firms.Opportunity for a training contract based on performance.Join a dynamic, enthusiastic, and diverse team with the chance to learn from experienced lawyers across multiple jurisdictions.Salary:R$96,000 BRL per yearBenefits & PerksGain valuable legal experience in a tech-enabled law firm.Competitive salary + annual discretionary bonusFull-time, permanent contractor roleCore overlap hours: Monday–Friday, 9 am–6 pm GMT (flexible outside these hours)25 days paid time offFull onboarding + continuous learning opportunitiesWork with international teams across regionsInclusive, diverse, and flexible cultureHow to ApplyIf you're excited about redefining the future of legal services with AI, we'd love to hear from you.InclusivityAt Scissero, we value diversity in all its forms and believe that varied perspectives make us stronger.
