Overview
As an Intern for LatAm Market Risk Management, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting market risk oversight in Latin America through day-to-day activities, report generation, and innovative stress testing projects. You will collaborate with teams in Brazil, Mexico, New York, and global colleagues, including Market Risk Analysts in Mumbai, focusing on programming and AI to enhance team efficiency. This role involves close interaction with the Brazil trading desk, assisting with market risk management for treasury and trading operations, and providing exposure to derivative products. By automating tasks with Python and AI, you will contribute significantly to the accuracy and efficiency of our market risk processes, enabling proactive risk management and strategy optimization. What You'll Do

• Support the LatAm Market Risk team in daily operations.
• Assist in generating and analyzing market risk reports.
• Contribute to stress testing projects by enhancing automatization.
• Develop and implement solutions using Python and AI for process improvement.
• Participate in data analysis and ad-hoc risk management tasks.

Skills You'll Need

• Knowledge in programming Python and VBA is a plus.
• Familiarity with data analysis and automation principles.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or a related field.
• Advanced/Fluency in English.
• Basic understanding of financial markets or risk management concepts is a plus.

• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Eagerness to learn about market risk management and financial instruments.
• Prior experience or coursework in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning concepts.
