We are actively seeking a dynamic and results-driven salesperson who boasts
over 5 years of substantial experience
in the electrical appliance sales sector within Brazil. This role is pivotal as we aim to make a strong foothold in the Brazilian market by establishing a robust sales company and an extensive sales network.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record spanning more than 5 years in selling electrical appliances in Brazil, with in-depth knowledge of the local market dynamics, long-standing insights into consumer preferences, and a deep understanding of regional distribution channels. They should be well-acquainted with major brands, key competitors, and prevailing pricing strategies in the Brazilian electrical appliance market, built through years of on-the-ground experience.
In terms of establishing the sales company, the candidate will play a key role in tasks such as conducting in-depth market research to identify optimal locations for the company's headquarters and potential branches, liaising with local authorities to navigate complex legal and regulatory procedures for company registration, and assisting in setting up essential infrastructure and operational systems—drawing on their years of familiarity with Brazil's business environment.
When it comes to building the sales network, the responsibilities will include identifying and recruiting reliable distributors, retailers, and sales agents across different regions of Brazil, leveraging their existing industry connections forged over 5+ years. The candidate should possess excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills to establish long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with these stakeholders. They will also be responsible for training the sales teams of partners, providing them with detailed product knowledge, effective sales techniques, and targeted marketing support to ensure the successful promotion and sales of our electrical appliances.
Additionally, the salesperson will be expected to develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the Brazilian market, set realistic yet ambitious sales targets, and monitor the performance of the sales network to ensure that the targets are met—drawing on their extensive experience to anticipate challenges and adapt strategies accordingly. They will act as a critical bridge between our company and the Brazilian market, providing regular, insightful feedback on market trends, evolving customer needs, and competitor activities to help our company make informed business decisions.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and has a strong passion for sales. Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential, as the role will involve frequent communication with both local partners and our headquarters. A background in business development or sales management in the electrical appliance industry in Brazil, with a 5-year+ tenure, would be a significant advantage.
