We are seeking a Director of Operations Brazil (Supply Chain) with proven experience in managing highly complex supply chains and operations within a large-scale business. The professional will be responsible for leading critical areas such as Planning (S&OP), Customer Service, Logistics, Importation, Facilities, and Procurement, ensuring robust results delivery in a dynamic and challenging environment within a rapidly growing business. Scope includes FG and POS materials.

Job Description

1. Planning (S&OP):

  • Lead the transformation and evolution of the S&OP process, focusing on Integrated Business Planning (IBP), portfolio management, and interdepartmental engagement & coordination.
  • Manage a growing portfolio with high seasonality and a globalized supply chain.
  • Plan with a long-term vision, considering inventory, lead times, and logistics modes.
  • Work with a detailed approach, going beyond the macro view to adjust planning to business demands.
  • Ensure inventory levels meet projected demand, avoiding overstocking or shortages.

2. Customer Service:

  • Ensure support for the accelerated growth of the operation.
  • Solve supply disruptions and ensure adequate stock availability, focusing on customer experience and anticipating problems and opportunities.
  • Actively participate in customer meetings and store visits, ensuring alignment and deliveries within agreed parameters.

3. Logistics:

  • Ensure integration and efficiency throughout the supply chain, from inventory planning to final delivery at points of sale.
  • Oversee operations at Distribution Centers (DCs), ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with market demands.
  • Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) such as service levels, logistics costs, stockout rates, transportation efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
  • Participate in global logistics and supply chain meetings and projects, bringing insights and best practices to the local operation.
  • Ensure logistics operations align with customer and business needs, providing exceptional service levels and expense management.

4. Import Management

  • Manage importation operations.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, partners, and global teams.
  • Drive operational efficiency.

5. Quality Management

  • Ensures and supports that quality standards defined through Red Bull HQ Quality is implemented, published internally and executed in the local organization.
  • Manage consumer complaints

6. Facilities and Procurement:

  • Manage infrastructure and building maintenance operations, ensuring a functional and safe environment for employees across all offices and other facilities.
  • Supervise third-party service contracts.
  • Oversee the strategic purchasing process, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best commercial terms.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with different company areas to align purchasing needs with business objectives.

7. Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead the multifunctional operations team, promoting talent development and leadership growth.
  • Establish a high-performance culture focused on results delivery and continuous improvement.

8. Global Relationship:

  • Interact with the global team, ensuring alignment and implementation of global directives.

Reporting Line:

  • Reports to the General Manager (President) of the Brazil operation.
  • Dotted-line reporting to the Director of Operations for Latin America.
Qualifications
  • Experience with complex supply chains, seasonality, frequent launches, and import operations.
  • Deep expertise in S&OP, IBP, and portfolio management.
  • Ability to work with detailed data and analyses while maintaining a strategic focus.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Post-graduate/specialization in relevant areas for the role or an MBA will be considered a competitive advantage.
  • Experience in CPG/Beverages/Food industries will also be considered competitive advantages.
  • Hands-on profile with high energy and execution capabilities.
  • Enjoy being close to operations, customers, distribution centers, and logistics processes.
  • Ability to work in high complexity environments and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Inspirational leadership with the ability to build and strengthen teams.
  • Strong relationship skills with diverse audiences (customers, internal teams, and global teams).
