POSITION: (temporary position)

About The Position
  • Arrange the personnel arrivals and departures in line with the roster defined by the Management and assign the
  • accommodation
  • Support the administration of the personnel on board
  • Liaise with the travel and marine agencies for the personnel logistics and travelling activities
  • Where required, support the Master/OIM in the training and certificates management
  • Manage crew changes
  • Update and maintain the Roster plan of personnel assigned to the vessel, in line with instructions from the vessel offshore management
  • Plan and record the personnel arrivals and departures from Helicopter and Crew change boats for all companies on board
  • Verify the minimum documentation of personnel for pre-embarkation purposes and support in preparation of the List of Crew
  • Issue Badges in line with ISPS requirements for new personnel
  • Prepare daily reports on POB, shifts, muster lists, daily meals, helicopter crew lists, look-aheads for the relevant parties
  • Record the attendances/absences of personnel (overtime, sickness, holidays, etc.), hours of work/rest in line with company procedures
  • Ensure the management of cash advance, within the remits defined by the Master
  • Interface with the marine agency and the Master/OIM for emigrations formalities
  • Where required, update the Vessel Training and Certificates matrix and liaises with relevant internal or external training/certificates departments, and the reference resource for training booking request and certificates application, in line with vessel management instructions
  • Report to the Commander/IOM, ensure compliance with SOLAS radio surveillance requirements, International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and Global Maritime Distress System (GMDSS) regulations;
  • Maintain the radio logbook, ensure that all outgoing correspondence is approved by the Commander (General and Seafarer), Chief Engineer (Technical) and Superintendent (Projects), record incoming and outgoing correspondence and arrange distribution appropriately, record/organize/distribute incoming mail and outgoing correspondence in accordance with standing instructions issued by the Commander;
  • Provide radio communications and, where necessary, qualifications of the vessel's personnel management system.

About You
  • Complete High School.
  • Experience in managing offshore vessels.
  • Experience as a radio operator.
  • HLO course completed.
  • Advanced English.
  • Knowledge of Excel and administrative routines onboard.
