About the role

As a Network Security Administrator, you will have a critical role in shaping and safeguarding the network infrastructure of a dynamic, global organization. You will be at the forefront of designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable network architectures that span multiple sites and hybrid cloud environments. In this advanced Level 3 support position, you'll tackle complex operational challenges and escalations, ensuring seamless connectivity and robust security. Your expertise in Cisco Meraki and Azure Networking, along with understanding of CheckPoint technologies, will be key to driving innovation and resilience across our network landscape.

Main responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures for global organizations with multiple sites and hybrid cloud operations.
• Proactively identify and implement enhancements to Networks, and infrastructure to avoid service disruptions.
• Research, design, and implement hardware, software, and cloud-based solutions.
• Handle network design considerations, including architecture, implementation, scalability, and application of security policies.
• Support resolution of critical issues and perform project tasks to avoid organizational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with criteria: Design system deployment plans that comply with security, capacity, and availability criteria to ensure robust and secure network operations.
• Maintain documentation: Keep detailed network maps, administration guides, and process documentation updated and stored for easy access and reference.
• Ensure security and reliability: Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of network environments to meet business requirements, proactively addressing potential vulnerabilities.
• Install, configure, and maintain Cisco Meraki equipment.
• Manage and optimize Azure Networking solutions.
• Ensure secure connectivity and compliance using CheckPoint technologies.
• Conduct network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Monitor network performance and implement necessary optimizations.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network security solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
• Promote information security best practices and awareness.
• Monitor, detect and resolve computer systems and networks related security issue.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Solid experience in network administration with a focus on security.
• Proficiency in Cisco Meraki technologies, Azure Networking and CheckPoint security solutions.
• Proficient in network solutions (routing, switching, WLAN).
• Solid understanding of Networking Concepts competent with protocols of all core technologies (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, LDAP, SMB, SSH, VPN, NAT, IPSec, VoIP, etc.)
• Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Azure, CheckPoint).
• Experience in security management tools including IPS, IDS, DLP, SIEM, etc.
