MISSION
Lead the people strategy for the LAR region delivering value to all stakeholders (shareholders, customers, employees, union, community) through the definition and implementation of nimble, responsive, and future-focused processes, programs, and policies to employees and in line with the company culture, mission and business environment and demands. This role is responsible for managing Human Resources related topics & Internal Communication for all Nidec employees in Brazil among AAD, ACIM, AMEC, GA & C&I.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Orchestrate all HR subsystems for LAR region such as: compensation (below executive level), benefits, admission, termination, payroll, local HR policies, recruitment & selection, talent management, development, (...);
- Deploy ACIM HR programs & systems locally, ensure their understanding and appropriation by all teams within the scope: ethics, conflicts of interest, compliance, workday, (...);
- In collaboration with operational HR, analyze dashboards, figures, and trends to develop and improve HR processes, programs, and action plans and provide innovative solutions to current situations and anticipate future situations;
- Enable and guarantee the application of HR policies and tools within the LAR region independent of the BU;
- Advise the local executives by providing honest advice that channels multiple perspectives and, when needed, confronting in the best interest of the organization. Maximize Senior Team Effectiveness: Partner with peers, both individually and collectively, with an eye toward improving senior team cohesion and performance;
- Driver of Culture and Purpose: in partnership with the Talent Management & Culture team, link purpose to Culture, support on setting KPIs, on communicating, and on holding leadership accountable for the culture defined;
- Coordinate the integrations of potential new local business, considering processes, cultures, and people;
- Collaborate with the plant director to assure the best practices for the manufacturing operations.
- Lead the local internal communication team assuring that all employees in the region will have appropriate information for all company related topics.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Human Resources or related.
- Solid experience in HR, Talent management methodologies, talent attraction, people, and business analytics;
- Soft skills: teamwork, business oriented, good interaction on all levels, leadership.
- English (fluent).
