This mission is on a residential basis, with no option for rotation.

Mission context*
The Crane Maintenance Specialist provides technical support for cranes, lifting equipment, and mechanical handling systems, ensuring compliance with design codes and regulations. The role includes coordinating offshore crane supervision and regular offshore visits to assess performance, supervise, and challenge contractors.

*Key Responsibilities*
The Crane Maintenance Specialist acts as Technical Authority for lifting equipment, responsible for:

• Planning and supervising maintenance and projects
• Conducting technical audits, inspections, and required testing in line with regulations
• Providing support for corrective and preventive maintenance of cranes and lifting systems
• Developing and assessing maintenance plans and equipment integrity
• Ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidance and safety standards
• Supervising contractors, vendors, and inspections
• Performing root cause analysis for equipment issues

What profile and skills are required for this "SENIOR CRANE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (M/F" role?
*Qualifications & Experience*

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience in crane maintenance, inspection, and certification
• Knowledge of major crane systems (e.g. Liebherr, Hydralift, Seatrax).
• Familiarity with API2C/2D standards and relevant safety regulations (NR-10, NR-34, NR-35, NR-37)
• Project management and SCM experience
• Advanced MS Office; SAP knowledge desirable
• Fluency in Portuguese and English
