Join Our Team as a LATAM Training Supervisor

Are you a proactive individual with a talent for building relationships and achieving results? We are seeking a dynamic Training Supervisor to lead the development and implementation of high-quality training programs for our customers, distributors, and partners. You will work closely with our Service Manager to transform training needs into successes, executing innovative training strategies and ensuring exceptional training experiences.

The Big Picture (Purpose):

The Training Supervisor will be instrumental in developing and executing high-quality training programs tailored for our customers, distributors, and partners. This role is dedicated to enhancing the knowledge and skills of stakeholders, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary expertise to use, promote, and support Alliance Laundry products effectively. The Training Supervisor will collaborate with various departments to identify key training needs, create engaging educational content, and deliver impactful training sessions using a variety of mediums. By fostering strong relationships and providing exceptional training experiences, the Training Supervisor will help strengthen brand loyalty, improve partner performance, and drive the overall success of Alliance Laundry in the marketplace.

What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

  • Identify training needs by analyzing performance evaluations and gathering feedback from customers.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive technical training programs that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and procurement of necessary materials.
  • Manage the training budget effectively to optimize resource allocation and utilization.
  • Deliver training sessions through various formats, including in-person workshops, webinars, and lectures.
  • Select and oversee external instructors or facilitators as needed to ensure high-quality training delivery.
  • Develop and utilize evaluation tools, such as quizzes and surveys, to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Gather and analyze participant feedback to continuously refine and improve training content and delivery.
  • Maintain detailed records of training activities, including participant engagement and outcomes.
  • Prepare regular reports on training progress and its impact on partner and stakeholder performance.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure alignment of training initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Participate in strategic meetings to discuss the development and deployment of technicians throughout Brazil and the Latin American region.
  • Actively recruit new technicians to address coverage gaps in underserved areas.
  • Manage resources and maintain relationships with ABRALAV to support training initiatives.
  • Work closely with the North American Training Group to ensure alignment and leverage shared resources and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the LATAM marketing team to provide technical validation, ensuring the accuracy of marketing materials.

What you need to bring to the table (Experience):

Education & Experience:

  • Knowledge of Chemistry, mechanics, electrical, electronics and pneumatics.
  • Experience with deepwater oil extraction equipment, corrosion protection systems, programming and configuration of professional laundry equipment software, general maintenance and application of training for professional laundry maintenance technicians.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Skills and Abilities:

  • Service-oriented: understands customer issues and is willing to help.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Practical knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work with others, assertive and diplomatic.
  • Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time.

Standard and Physical Requirements:

  • Position may involve standing for long periods, manual dexterity, stooping, bending.
  • Position requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. rarely. For greater weight items assistive devices will be provided.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
