Job Description
The Opportunity:
The main purpose of the Technical Lead is to lead and coordinate project team and team activities toward successful project delivery. These expectations are set by corporate policies, contractual obligations as well as legislation and regulation. The Technical Lead reports to the project manager and functional manager and works tightly with the project's technical team. Another important function is to serve as the contact with customer.

How You´ll Make An Impact
The project manager has formal accountability for the project's success. A Technical Lead is a delegate of the project manager with operational responsibility for conducting project activities toward successful project delivery. The Security Lead has the delegated power to undertake decisions related to project activities, organization and execution.

The essential responsibilities and duties of a Technical Lead are to:

  • Support PM in planning processes
  • Coordinate project team on-boarding and defining project requirements
  • Provide effective and efficient communication of relevant information within project team and other relevant stakeholders
  • Provide regular status/issues updates to Project Manager
  • Ensure continuous and effective communication with clients, ensuring planned project development
  • Monitoring and maintaining project requirements together with team members
  • Monitor that project delivery activities are conducted according to organization's Code of Conduct
  • Maintain Lessons Learned
  • Carry out External Kickoff and general understanding of project plan with client
  • Identify and prepare/adjust project documentation
  • Define NM release
  • Identify servers, define, and prepare development environment for factory testing
  • Approving basic factory verification
  • Coordinate Pre-FAT
  • Coordinate FAT
  • Coordinate Site Installation
  • Approve basic site verification
  • Coordinate Pre-SAT
  • Coordinate SAT
  • Supervise Availability Test
  • Deliver As-built documentation
  • Create Handover Document
  • Conduct Handover meeting
  • Project Handover to GCC
  • Record Lessons Learned
  • Present Lessons Learned by the organization
  • Mentoring and training of Technical Leads
  • Support Technical Leads with organizational process assets and enterprise environmental factors
  • Provide input for continuous improvement of product and activities
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your Background
The Technical Lead shall have experience of working in integration projects for the installation of power control and monitoring systems. Preferably in the Technical Lead or Project Management role.

The Technical Lead Shall Also

  • Be able to understand and effectively manage stakeholders' requirements and needs.
  • Have a knowledge of electric power system control and monitoring preferably from system integration project delivery.
  • Have strong communications skills – verbal, written, and presentation.
  • Have an ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Understanding and system administration capabilities of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • A basic understanding of Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
  • A basic understanding of commercial RDBMS, especially Oracle and SQL Sever
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Positive, proactive personality
  • Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English
