At Foxelli Group, we're not just leading the digital marketplace - we're redefining it. With 10 years of experience and a portfolio of thriving direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands generating over $20 million USD annually, we're pushing boundaries to achieve our next growth milestone.
For those who know their purls from their knits — and can explain it like a pro.
We believe crafting isn't just a hobby — it's a lifestyle. Our monthly subscription boxes bring joy, creativity, and a sense of accomplishment to thousands of makers around the world. Now, we're looking for
Knitting Pattern Designers
who can help us design inspiring, beginner-to-advanced friendly projects that people
actually
want to make.
THE ROLE
We're on the lookout for freelance
Knitting Pattern Designers
to create original, easy-to-follow patterns for our monthly boxes. These should be fun, giftable, and manageable — projects our customers can complete in a few sessions, not weeks.
We are looking for designers who can create patterns for all skill levels:
Beginner
Knitters– for those picking up needles for the first time
Intermediate
Knitters– for confident knitters ready for something new
Advanced
Knitters – for those who want a challenge and love a complex stitch
What You'll Do
- Design creative knitting projects tailored to our monthly box format (accessories, home décor, small wearables)
- Write clear, step-by-step instructions for a complete pattern
- Include all necessary details: yarn type, needle size, gauge, techniques, abbreviations, finishing instructions, and written instructions (charts optional)
- Take detailed photographs of steps that knitters can use as visual guides as they work through their projects
- Ensure your pattern is formatted cleanly, easy to follow, and typo-free
- Work closely with our team on revisions and feedback (if needed)
- Meet deadlines with no hand-holding
Who You Are
- You're an experienced knitter who has designed original patterns before
- You're skilled at explaining techniques clearly and simply
- You can take well lit, high-resolution, clearly detailed photographs for each key step in the patterns you create
- You're organized, responsive, and detail-oriented
- Bonus if you have experience with formatting patterns, diagrams, or layout tools
Compensation
- Freelance / per pattern
- Pay is competitive and depends on complexity and experience
How To Apply
Send us:
- A short intro: who you are + why you'd be a great fit
- 1–2 knitting pattern samples (PDFs or links)
- Photos of your past work or a link to your IG/portfolio
Let's create something beautiful together — and help knitters of all levels fall in love with the craft.
