Rise Vision is currently searching for a Senior Developer to help support our efforts of bringing digital signage to more schools in North America.

Mission

As a Senior Developer you're responsible for delivering software on schedule that meets our software development principles.

To deliver on schedule you understand our customer and our business strategies so together with the team you continuously reduce the scope of releases and incrementally deliver what matters most to our customers as quickly as possible while reducing complexity and potential defects.

Role Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, and deploy software applications and features
  • Deliver software on incremental releases that matters most to our users and meets our development principles
  • Manage code documentation and version control
  • Troubleshoot and debug software
  • Work in an agile environment to release software on a regular schedule
  • Responsible for client and server-side work
  • Gain understanding of our customers and our business strategy
  • Support the development team in prioritizing, forecasting, and planning new projects
Requirements
  • Full Stack developer with 5+ years of experience designing and building SaaS applications
  • Experience with mobile development (Android or iOS/tvOS)
  • Very strong JavaScript/Typescript/ES6 and NodeJS skills
  • Able to write unit and integration tests
  • Familiar with CI/CD tools for deployment and server maintenance
  • Comfortable using Git/Github, reviewing peers pull requests
  • Understand the full web stack (e.g. HTTP, headers, caching, REST APIs, etc.)
  • Familiar with Scrum and Agile methodologies
  • Take ownership of work and is accountable to deadlines, KPIs and commitments made
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Continuous learner
