What You'll Be Responsible For
As the Managing Director, Latin America, you will serve as Circle's dedicated regional leader, responsible for driving and aligning all facets of go-to-market execution across Central and South America. This includes unifying business development, regulatory engagement, and marketing efforts under a cohesive strategy. You will lead a high-performing regional pod to accelerate market entry, strengthen Circle's presence, and achieve ambitious growth targets, ensuring our global capabilities are successfully localized and scaled for long-term success.

- Delivering unified regional execution across all go-to-market functions, creating a cohesive and impactful market presence.
- Achieving unique, measurable regional OKRs and KPIs that directly drive growth, profitability, and market leadership.
- Accelerating time-to-market for high-value regional opportunities, enabling faster capture of market share.
- Ensuring strong alignment between commercial priorities and product development, so innovation is guided by market needs.
- Building scalable, repeatable regional playbooks grounded in deep local market intelligence to enable sustained success.
Core Requirements

- 14+ years experience in business development and go-to-market expansion.
- Deep expertise in global go-to-market strategy, with the ability to integrate commercial, product, and operational priorities into a unified execution plan.
- Proven track record of transformative leadership, steering large-scale, multi-market organizations to sustained growth and market leadership.
- Exceptional stakeholder influence and relationship-building skills, fostering trust with regulators, partners, customers, and internal teams alike. Sharp commercial and financial acumen, leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and unlock new revenue opportunities.
- Experience navigating complex regulatory environments, ensuring compliance while enabling innovation and speed-to-market.
- Visionary mindset paired with operational rigor, able to inspire teams while delivering measurable, scalable results.
- Strong cultural intelligence and adaptability, leading diverse teams across regions with empathy, clarity, and resilience.
- Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in high-growth fintech, blockchain, or payments companies operating in Central and South America.
- Track record of building repeatable operational frameworks and playbooks across multiple markets in Web3 or crypto.
- Strong cultural fluency and experience leading diverse, distributed teams.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments with a blend of strategic vision and operational discipline.
- Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.
