Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
iOS Software Engineer
to join our team and contribute to the development of high-impact, user-facing features within the Pinterest iOS app. This role involves working across the full product development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to implementation, testing, and launch validation. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, technically skilled, and eager to work on projects that directly enhance the user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Pinner-facing features in the Pinterest iOS app.
- Participate in the end-to-end product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design collaboration, implementation, and A/B testing.
- Collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to deliver seamless functionality.
- Employ automated testing to ensure features meet high technical quality standards.
- Take ownership of developed components and features, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
- Stay current with emerging iOS technologies and best practices, incorporating them when appropriate.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional iOS development experience
building consumer or business-facing applications. - Strong proficiency in
Objective-C and/or Swift
. - Experience writing reliable, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
- Strong understanding of iOS development principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
