Position Overview:
Our client is building a new squad in Brazil. 
The Senior SDET autonomously spearheads end-to-end testing initiatives for medium complexity features within their specialized technical domain, with minimal guidance from more seasoned engineers. They are responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining test automation features of medium complexity.

* The company is currently hiring for level II and level III SDET positions.
* This is a full-time/CLT position with full benefits that involves working hybrid 2 days per week.
* This job opportunity is exclusively available in São Paulo, Brazil.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, improve, and maintain test automation frameworks, scripts, and tools to boost coverage and efficiency.
  • Debug complex issues, root-cause analysis, and mentor junior SDETs in best practices.
  • Lead test planning for squad deliverables, ensuring comprehensive coverage (manual + automated).
  • Own end-to-end testing lifecycle (development → production → fixes) for assigned stories.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to enhance squad productivity.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and QEs to refine acceptance criteria and implementation.
  • Conduct code reviews, document features, and uphold engineering standards.
  • Drive onboarding and mentorship for new SDETs.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years in SDET/test automation roles, with advanced expertise in:
    - Programming (Java/JS or similar) + CI/CD pipelines.
    - Test frameworks (Selenium, Appium, etc.) + Agile/BDD methodologies.
    - Performance monitoring, UAT, and release testing.
    - Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, design patterns).
    - Proven ability to debug, optimize tests, and reduce manual effort.
    - Experience leading test case design, planning, and peer reviews.
