What You'll Do

As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Insurance Practice Area you will work in a growing global team, providing industry/functional expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You'll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues. You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working, in conjunction with business leaders, through contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops and marketing materials. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage, you will contribute to developing intellectual property & assets for the business and assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.

Our Role Expectations Are

• Getting staffed on cases and working from client-site or BCG office for a duration of couple of months by providing analysis to drive insight into specific client issues
• Managing and processing industry focus analysis requests, and assisting consultants with industry specific problems
• Interacting with local teams and use an extensive collection of internal and external information resources to gather, filter, synthesize, package and deliver insights to the Insurance Practice Area
• Working on content pieces with special focus on Latin American Brazil market specific expertise, including industry trends, local and regional competitive landscape, benchmarks, mapping key industry players, amongst others
• Supporting the Insurance PA in Brazil with content development/synthesis for external engagements (Seat at the table events, newspaper articles, etc.)
• Gatekeeping all content developed in the Insurance Practice Area in Brazil in an organized way, identifying content to be sanitized and published for the wider BCG ecosystem

YOU'RE GOOD AT

• Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches in the Insurance sector, including open Insurance, new regulations, etc-
• Communicating with case teams and stakeholders, in a credible and confident way
• Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
• Being flexible and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas
• Navigating complexity and ambiguity

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of consulting experience in relevant insurance related work required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of the insurance sector in Brazil (including open insurance and regulations)
• In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
• Fluency in English and Portuguese
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
