About the Role

We are currently looking for an Physiotherapist to join our new collaboration project ESF Bridging Abilities: Advancing Opportunities on a part-time casual basis for a definite period starting in January 2026 until July 2029 (for a total of 72 hours throughout the project). The chosen therapist will form part of our new Baby & Me Programme, an early intervention program designed to equip parents with the knowledge and practical strategies needed to support sensory processing, feeding, toilet training, and other key developmental milestones in infants and toddlers diagnosed with congenital disabilities or considered at high risk for autism.

The programme consists of various workshops held during the Winter (Jan–Mar), Spring (Apr–Jun), and Autumn (Oct–Dec) terms. The Occupational Therapist shall be responsible for designing and delivering these sessions, with scheduling kept flexible to align with both the therapist's availability and the program's requirements

What you'll be doing

  • Design and deliver engaging, evidence-based workshops for parents and caregivers. These workshops will focus on early development in early childhood covering sensory processing, feeding, toilet training and other developmental milestones in the early years.
  • Three distinct workshops are required, each covering a unique aspect of early physical development. (Duration for each workshop 2 hours each).
  • Workshops will be delivered once per month, and the full series will be repeated across three terms per year—meaning each workshop will be presented three times annually.
  • Content should be interactive, practical, and grounded in current research.
  • Provide and model strategies for parents during workshop sessions.
  • Offer guidance and support to parents on integrating strategies into daily routines.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of the programme by collecting relevant feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with organizational and professional standards.

What we're looking for

Empathetic, respectful and detail-oriented professional with excellent record-keeping, documentation, and follow-up practices. The ideal candidate shall be a good listener, skilled in conflict resolution and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum MQF Level 6 degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Registered with the Council for the Professions Complementary to Medicine (CPCM) and meet the minimum insurance requirements as stipulated by the Council.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with young children and families, preferably in early intervention.
  • Experience in group facilitation and workshop delivery will be considered as an asset.
