ADP is hiring Lead developer - Mainframe COBOL

We're expanding our Cobol development team and we're looking for a Lead Developer COBOL who's passionate about maintaining and modernizing mission-critical payroll and HCM applications.

Hybrid work model, reporting directly to our Porto Alegre Office location
What You'll Do

• Lead the analysis, development, maintenance, and modernization of our COBOL-based payroll processing systems
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for our legacy applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legacy systems with modern technologies
• Mentor junior developers and share your expertise in mainframe development

What We Need

• 8+ years of hands-on COBOL development experience
• Strong knowledge of JCL, DB2, and mainframe architecture
• Understanding of modern integration patterns and API development
• Problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills in English language
