The Financial Business Partner will play a key role in supporting Neogen's Finance function across the region. This position is responsible for a range of finance and accounting activities including budget management, reporting, and operational support. Working closely with local and regional leadership, the Financial Business Partner ensures that financial processes are accurate, compliant, and aligned with Neogen's strategic goals.

This is a site-based role at our Indaiatuba facility, operating on a day shift (Brazil) schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support accounting, budgeting, and tax functions for local and regional entities.

  • Oversee the processing and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.

  • Maintain and review general ledger accounts, journal entries, and expense reports.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making and performance tracking.

  • Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.

  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

  • Support audit activities and ensure documentation accuracy and readiness.

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or business partnering roles.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

  • Experience working in a multinational or matrix organization preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions and regions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems (such as SAP) is an advantage.
