Manager Technical Quality Assurance II

About your role:
As a Manager of Technical Quality Assurance II, you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts for our software products. Your role will involve developing and implementing QA strategies to ensure our solutions consistently meet high standards of quality, performance, and reliability. You will manage a team of QA professionals, guiding and mentoring them to achieve the best results. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the user experience and supporting the success of our products in the market.

What you'll do:

  • Lead a team of QA professionals to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and best practices.

  • Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve defects.

  • Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases.

  • Monitor and report on QA progress, metrics, and outcomes to stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team and processes.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams

  • 3+ years of experience in automation testing

  • 3+ years of experience in performance testing

  • 3+ years of experience in Agile methodologies

  • 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience with automated testing tools

  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools

  • Familiarity with security testing practices

  • Understanding of software development lifecycles

  • Certification in software testing methodologies
