A Day In The Life
As a Sr Specialist in Regulatory Affairs, you'll dive into the thrilling world of registrations and compliance for both raw materials and finished products Imagine being at the heart of exciting projects, where your regulatory expertise will fuel the creation of cutting-edge labeling and propel product registration in dynamic, emerging markets. You'll craft a strategic masterpiece alongside our visionary regulatory leaders and the innovative regional NPD (New Product Development) team, ensuring that every registration is executed smoothly and efficiently. Get ready to be the communication maestro and corporate steward, orchestrating a seamless regulatory strategy for our formulas and products

The Impact You'll Make

  • Responsible for product registration dossier creation for various countries. Dossiers include for instance product labeling, analytical testing, compliance review, and vendor documentation
  • Work on registration projects with internal senior regulatory affairs (RA) staff and the local outside counsel and government authorities to ensure that projects are managed according to corporate brand and product strategy in a timely manner.
  • Manage and facilitate discussions with RA management and outside legal counsel to identify issues, develop solutions in order to establish regulatory strategy for new or existing products.
  • Conduct research aimed to maintain compliance and set regulatory strategy for product line based on regulations and competitor strategy in dynamic, ever-changing markets.
  • Assess situation and risk posed to existing product portfolio based on new regulations or queries from authorities to develop plans which may require the amendment of registration, formulation, and/ or labeling plan accordingly.
  • Establish a clear direction in unclear territories based on educated risk assessment using on high level strategic thinking and solid understanding of food and beverage regulations.
  • Carry out compliance assessment of formulations against specifications for the country of sale and manufacturing as well as maintenance of compliance tools.
  • Ensure regulatory product compliance through the development of accurate label and product artwork.
  • Ensure the internal regulatory department database for new products is kept up to date with all substantiation documents pertaining to labeling, artwork, product claims and regulatory research.
  • Assist management with the development of internal regulatory policies and best practices to retain knowledge, improve accuracy and streamline processes.

Who You Are

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Scientific discipline (Chemistry, Nutrition, Food Science, regulatory Science etc.), Life Sciences, or related field of study
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in regulatory, compliance, including labeling, registration, formulation, ingredient compliance.
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in other technical roles (Quality and R&D) with a proven record of an understanding of ingredient, formulations, manufacturing, and supply chain
  • Computer Skills Desired: Microsoft Office
