Kaszek Ventures, the leading early\-stage Venture Capital firm in Latin America, is looking forward to expanding its team with strong and high\-potential Business Analysts and Associates to work in its São Paulo office. The Company Kaszek Ventures is a Latin American venture capital firm that partners with exceptional entrepreneurs to build lasting, high\-impact technology\-based companies whose main initial focus is Latin America. The firm is industry and stage agnostic, mainly investing in Seed, Series A and Series B. With over USD1 billion in Assets Under Management, Kaszek Ventures is the largest early stage investor in the region. In addition to capital, it provides first\-hand expertise and insights in strategy, operational execution, team\-building, growth, technology, product, networking, fundraising and more. The firm was founded in 2011 by internet pioneers Hernan Kazah (MercadoLibre's co\-founder and former COO\/CFO) and Nicolas Szekasy (MercadoLibre's former CFO); Nicolas Berman, with 20 years of operational tech experience and former VP at MercadoLibre, also leads the firm alongside with Santiago Fossatti, who has been at Kaszek Ventures since the very beginning, and Andy Young, who has had extensive technology and product experience in several markets around the world. Some of the fund's portfolio companies are: Nubank, QuintoAndar, Kavak, Creditas, TheNotCompany, Konfio, Loggi, GymPass, MadeiraMadeira, and Grupo Zap. \/portfolio. The Position The candidate will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with the partners in all the aspects of the investment process and the fund management. This includes: Deal sourcing: participation in industry events, research of existing opportunities and industry mapping and scanning of potential investments and attractive business models in all Latin America.Due Diligence: data gathering and data analysis for the development of investment theses for potential companies in which to invest, interviewing the company's team, its partners and clients to fully understand the business.Portfolio management: cooperation with the portfolio companies on new rounds of capital raisings, business plans, operational needs and head hunting.Fund management: support on strategic portfolio discussions, performance assessments, and material preparations for investors.This position offers the opportunity to work in a small team with high exposure to the entrepreneurial and venture capital industries around Latin America. Candidate's Profile Education: Exemplary academic record at a top university with a degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related careers.Job Experience: At least 3+ years of experience working at Management Consultancy, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Startup, or a top\-tier corporation. Associates will have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.Languages: English and Portuguese proficiency required.Personal attitudes: Passionate for technology, startups and investing; very strong quantitative background; team player, independent, hardworking, proactive, flexible and hands\-on.
