DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer at Worldpay based in Brazil, you'll be at the forefront of building and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient on-premises OR cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and performance.

What you will be doing

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines

• Manage Git workflows and branching strategies

• Monitor and optimize system/network performance

• Automate Linux tasks using Bash and Python

• Design scalable AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)

• Automate provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible

• Monitor infrastructure using CloudWatch, Nagios, Grafana

• Manage deployments with Ansible or Puppet

• Containerize apps with Docker; orchestrate via Kubernetes (EKS/OpenShift

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering.

• 5–8 years of experience in Linux and DevOps roles.

• Strong expertise in Linux, Scripting, AWS system level configuration and container orchestration

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems

• Familiarity with Kafka, OpenShift, and scalable transactional systems

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
