Senior Frontend Developer - React Native, React Web and ExpoUmatch, a rapidly growing Brazilian startup, is looking for a talented Senior Frontend Developer to take over key technical responsibilities as we transition and scale our international dating app. This role is critical as we move towards a major update and work to ensure a seamless user experience. The mission for this position is to take ownership of the frontend codebase, ensuring that our platform remains stable, performant, and ready to handle future growth, with a particular focus on optimizing user experience and handling international requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include:React Native App v2 Update:Continue the upgrade process for our React Native app and associated libraries (e.g., React Navigation), ensuring compatibility with the latest tools and platforms. Bug Fixing & Maintenance:Prioritize the maintenance of our current app, resolving key bugs. User Experience Improvement:Focus on optimizing user flows, including handling A/B test remnants and ensuring a clean and intuitive user interface across devices of various sizes.
App's Performance:Ensure great usability for users by guaranteeing the lightness and fluidity of the code. What we're looking for:Proven experience with React Native, React Web, and the Expo framework.3 years of experience in front-end development. Experience with UI/UX optimization and ability to debug complex user flows.
Strong problem-solving skills. Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and cleanup processes for phased-out features. Ability to take ownership of the front end, collaborate effectively with the product and backend teams, and manage key tasks related to app updates and bug resolution.
Experience with performance optimization and managing apps with large user bases. A passion for innovation and a proactive approach to ensuring the app stays modern and robust. Availability to work in person in São Paulo, close to the Faria Lima subway station.
Bonus Points:Experience with IAPHUB, or similar tools for handling in-app purchases, is a plus. Previous work on apps in markets with a mix of regional requirements (e.g., currency displays, language preferences).
