Join the leadership team behind Africa's largest travel, tourism and events network, dedicated to promoting the continent as a premier global destination. We are seeking a financially astute,

Leader, to provide strategic oversight and leadership, guiding two accomplished CEOs, one leading the travel and tourism network, and the second, heading the events business.

This high-impact, part-time role (2 days per week) is ideal for a senior executive with extensive board experience, strong financial acumen, and a deep understanding of Africa's travel, tourism and events landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and governance to both CEOs and their leadership teams
  • Oversee financial strategy, capital development, and long-term sustainability
  • Support investment initiatives, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement
  • Act as a key advisor on growth, risk, and operational focus
  • Represent the organisation on international platforms, including media, investors, and government
  • Lead the board of directors and oversee their role to ensure transparency and best practice in governance

Ideal Candidate

  • Seasoned Chair, Non-Executive Director, CEO or senior executive with extensive boardroom experience
  • Strong financial background with proven success in scaling or guiding complex organisations
  • In-depth knowledge of African markets, particularly in travel, tourism, and events
  • Visionary, collaborative leader with sound governance principles and strategic clarity
  • Available 2 days per week, with occasional travel to Africa
