Join us as a Causal AI Researcher on our Applied Research team in Brazil (Remote) to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you will achieve

As a Causal AI Researcher, you will design and develop advanced causal AI systems optimized for emerging computing paradigms and hardware platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, efficient solutions that accelerate AI workloads and unlock new use cases for next-generation computing. This role offers the opportunity to shape cutting-edge technology and drive innovation in AI research.

You will:

  • Design and develop causal AI systems that can be optimized for emerging computing paradigms and hardware platforms

  • Research and develop new methods for mapping causal AI systems onto heterogeneous hardware & software computing systems

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate novel computing architectures and systems that can accelerate AI workloads

  • Conduct research and publish papers on causal AI and its applications in emerging computing systems

  • Work closely with hardware design teams to inform hardware design decisions and roadmaps

Essential Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

  • Solid experience in researching and developing causal AI systems and computing systems

  • Expertise in causal AI, computer architecture, and VLSI design

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++. Experience with AI frameworks and tools, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

  • English: advanced/fluent level. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
