As a Software Engineer you will join one of our regional product delivery teams, working in cloud-based environments. You'll work with large-scale data, from scientific and machine-generated data to geospatial, weather, and soil information. Our mission is to revolutionize global agriculture through digital tools that help farmers boost productivity sustainably. YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

• Collaborate with Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Managers, and User Experience experts to craft an experience that will impact the face of farming.
• Work with an open, inclusive team engineers who are committed to continuous improvement, and quality.
• Participate in code reviews. On our team we share knowledge, help each other learn new things, and thrive on making our code better.
• Write code in JavaScript and TypeScript and comprehensive tests (unit, UI, e2e).

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?
You are expected to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of JavaScript.
• Fundamental knowledge of CSS.
• Basic understanding of debugging apps on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, and mobile browsers).
• Interest in working with a team that values testing.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required for working in a global team.
• Willingness to be based in São Paulo, with some weekly office days expected.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of building web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, we use React).
• Understanding of git or other distributed version control systems.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn TypeScript.
• Understanding of CI/CD and build pipelines.
• Experience building a UI consuming APIs.
