This professional will be responsible for the conception, design, development, and management of projects in the built environment.
Position's Duties and Responsibilities
Assessing potential risks, materials, and costs involved in a project.Providing technical advice and creative solutions for construction challenges.Overseeing projects from start to finish to ensure high standards of construction and safety are maintained.Leading and directing the construction team and supervising on-site progress.Engaging in feasibility studies and writing bid proposals Ensuring project compliance with legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements.Coordinating with contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders.Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software and other resources to design the frameworks of infrastructure systems.Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries.Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.Position's Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringA Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or an associated field can be advantageous Relevant experience through internships can be highly beneficial.Knowledge and proficiency in industry-specific software, like AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other computer-aided design software are generally required.Strong skills in math, and engineering principles are necessary.Good communication and team collaboration skills are essential for effectively managing diverse teams and working with clients and other professionals.
