About the role As a Technician l you will perform all activities associated with operating equipment at an infrastructure operation. Responsibilities Leadership and Safety: Provides technical support to new/less experienced team members and always adhering to safety first. Communication: Communicates and collaborates with peers. Compliance: Ensure personnel, equipment, and work areas comply with safety policies and regulations. Employee Relations: Team player Performance Expectations: Performs tasks requiring a good understanding of well -defined technical procedures. Training and Resource Allocation: Knowledge and insight of practical methods, techniques and work processes gained through some technical training and work experience. Resource Planning: Leads the delivery of the plan for rail, port, road or utilities assets in a safe and cost effective matter. About You: To thrive in this role, you should bring: Safety Commitment: A dedicated commitment to the safety of yourself and your team. Experience: 2 years of relevant experience and a valid drivers license Technical Expertise: Equipment Operation experience Communication and Organization: Experience working with diverse groups and strong communication skills Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications/ SAP Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent
